It seems that the government has put plans in place to make certain business sectors “greener” by using electric vans instead of the convention petrol / diesel vehicles. It is being reported that the Police, council vehicles and even Royal Mail are to introduce electric powered used vans into their range of transport. The idea behind these new measures is designed to help the economy and so low emission vehicles are being setup. Apparently over £20 million is to be provided for such activities, which is part of £100 million overall plan by the government for a better economic way. Vans, cars and other automotive sectors are due to be part of the plan, which is said to not only be more economical but also make vans more practical and affordable. The thinking behind such measures came as it was reported that over twenty percent of the UK’s carbon emissions come from transport and thirteen percent of this is generated from private vehicles. The electric motors will help reduce the cost of fuel as well as decreasing the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Also, the fact that van emissions alone are generating more emissions that any other form of transport means that the introduction of such plans are being put in place sooner rather than later. With electric engines it means that the country is not so reliant on others for the production of oil and so it will help cut costs at the petrol pumps also for the general motor user.

Ok so we know that here in the UK we love to spend money and that can often leaves us with credit card bills and exceeded overdraft limits! It can be a real pain and very difficult to get any type of credit unless you are willing to pay extortionate amounts of interest / APR rates on borrowed monies. Luckily I have quite a good track record in terms of credit and so am not affected. However, I have seen many people suffer because of this and believe me, having bad credit isn’t a nice situation to be in. Eventually it could lead to a CCJ (county court judgement) being placed against your name and then things really do become more difficult.
